As a newbie, I’m currently following a lot of bloggers and I’m trying to be as much sociable and supportive as I can. The blogging industry can be quite overwhelming, especially when you’re competing with the big-already-established bloggers out there! I was drinking my morning coffee today, checking what my favourite bloggers have posted, when I stumbled across this article 10 Bloggers + 5 Instagrams To Follow Today from Pint Sized Beauty. I figured ‘what a nice way to show your support and appreciation!’, hence I thought I should do something similar and present you with my current 5 favourite bloggers. I have a lot of favourites but these 5 are the never-miss-a-blog-post ones. Consequently, I tend to ‘spam’ their comments section with my ‘unimportant opinion’ whenever an opportunity presents itself. I haven’t been blocked or told off yet, so my best guess would be that 1 – they don’t mind, and 2 – they’re too scared to do something as I might be a weirdo. The latter isn’t far from reality but I’m more in the positive-type-weirdo section as opposed to red-lights-going-off type!
I’ll keep this short and sweet. Ahead, the five bloggers I’m currently following:
Pint Sized Beauty. No wonder that I’m starting off with Lily’s blog as she was the inspiration behind this post. Lily is the cutest redhead I’ve seen with the most amazing all-beauty-related pictures which make me dribble like a baby. Her blog is about makeup, skincare, style and interior, focusing more on beauty… or that’s my perception!
Sugar Coated Things. I think I found out about Shubana through Bloglovin’ and she deserves a lot more hype than she gets. First of all, she’s Canadian! You might not know this about me but I LOVE CANADA. I’ve never been there but all the people I’ve met and everything I’ve seen and heard made me fall in love with Canada. Her blog is mainly about skincare but she also talks about the daily challenges of being a mom.
Make Erin Over. Erin is based in Scotland – I’m also obsessed with Scotland fyi – sharing her reviews and best tips on makeup and skincare. She loves makeup, coffee, cake and wine aka all the thing I love, hence match made in heaven. She also brought back to life my faith in hairdressers with her post Matrix #BloggerMatch: Fin & Co (Carnoustie).
Mile In My Glasses. Just finished his latest post Three Simple Pinterest SEO Tips That Exploded My Blog Traffic that I really need to incorporate. Michael is predominately writing about his lifestyle and travel experiences with occasional fashion, blogging and skincare tips! I find his approach to blogging very refreshing and inspiring. From his Disneyland photos to his super stylish camel coats, there’s something for everyone’s taste.
Anika May. This Yorkshire beauty is very inspirational! Anika writes about everyday life and showcases her style. Her posts are very honest and heart-warming. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and has the mindset of a person with a big heart. I’ll try to keep up with her posts as much as I can!
As promised, I kept this one short and sweet. It might seem that this post is rushed and you won’t be wrong – it is! But I just got this sudden kick of inspiration that I had to pursue immediately while my head is fresh and clear. I hope you’ll like and follow at least some of these bloggers if not all!
I would also like to use this opportunity to share something very exciting – I’m on my way to becoming a Newsette ambassador thanks to Marlena who is Head of Growth at The Newsette! Never in a million years I would’ve thought that something like this will happen, especially since my blog is still a baby! Meant to inspire, motivate, and inform people around the world, if you find something you like at The Newsette – please subscribe via this link.
Meanwhile, let me know what are your favourite bloggers!
x Mariya
